An MC hosts your reception and keeps the evening flowing; a celebrant conducts the legally binding marriage ceremony. I'm qualified for both roles - book them together or separately, depending on your schedule and budget.

What happens during a Chinese tea ceremony?

The couple serves tea to parents and elders to express gratitude and respect; in return, the family blesses the newlyweds. I provide bilingual hosting, a luxurious china tea set, premium organic ingredients, styling, kneeling cushions and full pack-down.

Before the groom can claim his bride, he and his groomsmen complete a series of fun door games to prove his love. I design and coordinate the games in Chinese and English - safe, on schedule, and full of stories your photographer will love.

Can you conduct a ceremony entirely in Cantonese or Mandarin?

Yes. I speak Cantonese, Mandarin and English every day and switch gracefully between all three - as a Commonwealth-registered civil celebrant I can conduct your full legal ceremony in the languages your families understand.
