Multicultural Wedding
Where art, culture, and intention meet
The Story
From the very beginning, Jina and Aaron's wedding was built around intention. Every element was chosen with care, and every cultural moment was given space to breathe.
As MC and celebrant, I guided the day bilingually, ensuring both the English-speaking and Chinese-speaking sides of the family felt equally centred.

Where art, culture, and intention meet.

Chinese Tea Ceremony
The tea ceremony was one of the most moving moments of the day:
Gold jewellery passed between generations, red lacquer trays, the room completely still.
The Chinese tea ceremony is one of the most meaningful traditions I have the privilege of hosting. I guide the couple, their parents, and their elders through each step in Cantonese and English, holding the room with warmth and clarity so that every family member feels the full significance of what they are witnessing. Gold jewellery is presented, blessings are spoken, and generations are connected in a single moment.
